This sculpt is Jayden by Claire Taylor and she is absolutely precious!! Thank you so very much Claire, you do such wonderful sculpts! I have renamed this little one Gracie Ann and she was such a pleasure to reborn. I have been collecting reborns for several years now and as every other reborn artist, I just had to learn this unique craft. I have been reborning for a few years and enjoy every minute of it. Each and every reborn, even though it could be the same sculpt, is different in it's own unique way, no two babies ever come out exactly alike! Every artist has their own way of reborning even though we keep up with all of the new and different techniques, we can all be quite different. There are so many talented and gifted reborn artists, that's what reborning is all about and I guess we all just have that love for babies!!   Details at a Glance:  *Pink doe sued body, fully jointed and very soft  ¾ arms and full legs  Beautiful dark blue Masterpiece eyes  Soft and silky, very fine black alpaca hair (award winning!) Coloring done with Genesis heat set paints, will never fade  Subtle veining and mottling  Blue undertones for that newborn look  All of my babies are filled with tiny glass granuals and topped with quality fiberfill, no sand is ever used so that they are always ready for overseas travel!   Gracie Ann was born on June 12, 2010 and she is an adorable 6 pounds 2 ounces, and, she is 20 1/2 inches long from the top of her precious little head to the bottom of her sweet little feet (with legs slightly bent)! She was given many layers of Genesis heat set paints to achieve the depth and coloring that is needed to look like a newborn infant. She also has subtle veining and slightly blue undertones along with mottling on her sweet little body to add to the overall appearance of being a newborn. This is very time consuming and takes many days to achieve, but it is well worth the effort! EYES AND EYEBROWS Gracie Ann is a precious wide awake baby with dark blue Masterpiece eyes and has been given light brown whispy eyelashes, I also gave her very subtle barely there eyebrows to match her eyelashes!  NOSE AND MOUTH  Gracie's nose has been opened and backed with dark felt for depth and realism. She has very sweet full lips which have been colored with several layers of natural colors and then sealed with a clear sealer for that natural wet look. I gave her a magnetic pacifier, however these magnets are very strong so precautions should be taken around electronics such as computers and anyone who has a pacemaker.  I love my paci! HAIR  The color of hair that I used on Gracie is a very silky, very soft and very fine black mohair that came from an adorable award winning alpaca. I choose to buy only the best for these little ones! Her hair has been rooted with a very small needle that only roots one or two hairs at a time. This process is very labor intensive but is worth every minute ( or hours as the case may be). This baby has a thick head of hair as some babies do, but it has been rooted so that some of her little head shows through! After her hair was finished, several layers of adhesive were applied to the inside of her head so her new mommy can gently wash and brush her sweet little head. She also has a magnet for a bow to be worn in her hair and a special little bow with magnet is included! I'm sure her new mommy will have lots of fun dressing her up and showing her off!   NAILS  Her nails have been colored with a very natural shade and the tips were done in an off white for that oh so natural look. After the coloring was complete, several layers of sealer were applied for protection and durability. Now her little fingers and toes are looking simply precious as well as the bottom of her sweet little feet, they have subtle blue undertones just like a newborn, simply adorable!!! After all was completed, Gracie was ready to assemble. Her arms and legs are filled with tiny glass beads and then topped with premium fiberfil. A double layer of sealer was added to prevent any type of leakage. Her head has a double layered bag of glass beads and is surrounded by premium fiberfil, now her head is weighted and floppy just like a real baby and needs to be supported as such!! Her body also has a double sewn bag of glass beads and is surrounded by the same fiberfil, now she feels so cuddly that you won't want to put this little bundle down! I don't use sand in any of my babies so that they can be shipped overseas if that is where their new home is to be! Miss Fancy Pants! Do you like my pretty shoes? Ready for Bed! * Gracie wears size 0-3 months clothes and she can wear a size O infant shoe * My home is 100% smoke free but is not pet free! * Gracie Ann has been an absolute pleasure to reborn and I hope that someone will adopt her and love her as much as I do! Collecting and reborning is such a joy for me and my wish is that I can share my joy with you. All of these babies are simply PRECIOUS to me and DELIVERED by me, thus the name PRECIOUS DELIVERY REBORNS! * Gracie Ann has been created with the collector in mind and really should not be used as a toy for very young children as these reborn are truly a work of art.
